Appreciation tournament

Once a year we switch it up in Belleville and the rules get a little crazy. You could be running the bases backwards, throwing with your glove hand, or playing a game called black base where one base is black and you cannot stop there. These are just a few examples of the messed up rules. It makes for a ton of fun.

Nine teams took part and the end the Blue Birds were crowned champs.

Thank you to all of the players and to Kirk who made the trip to Belleville to umpire this mess. Thank you also to the teams that donated lead by Luke's Dream with $200.

Now it's back to regular ball but we look forward to doing it again next year.

This was our 8th annual tournament where it all began in Belleville. Sixteen teams took part over two days.

We want to thank all of the teams that donated lead by Dirty Piranhas with $340 and Logan's Ladies and Lads with $305. We also want to thank all of umpires and volunteers. We couldn't have done it without you. Last but not least we want to thank all of the players that helped to make it another success.

Congrats to all of the skills comps winners and congratulations to A Champs - Logan's Ladies and Lads, B Champs - Intercity Isotopes and C Champs Dirty Piranhas.

June 2

Our Belleville Tourney and Skills Comp day saw eight teams take the field. Unfortunately this was a re-scheduled date which brought us down from the original fifteen teams.

We want to thank the volunteers and umpires that helped to make it a success. We also want to thank the teams that donated including Dirty Piranhas topping up their season leading total by $115 and Canadian Yards for matching that number.

On the diamonds Designated Drinkers won the Skills portion of the day and Logan's Ladies and Lads won the tournament. Congratulations to both teams.

Thank you to everyone that participated and helped to make it another great day!!
